In 1996, Louis started in animation at Warner Brothers Feature Animation Internship program studying both animation and layout. After completing the internship program he worked on Quest for Camelot, Iron Giant, and Osmosis Jones working as a traditional Layout artist. After WBFA, Louie worked as a Visual Development artist on the WB's live action Scooby Doo movie.
In 2000 Louis moved to Pixar to work in cg animation. Starting as a CG Layout artist, he quickly made his way to the Story department, starting as a story artist and rising to Story Supervisor. His credits at Pixar include Monsters Inc. & Monsters U, Finding Nemo & Finding Dory, Ratatouille, Cars 3, Brave, The Incredibles 1 & 2 and other films. He has also storyboarded on Marvel Studios Live action film “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”
He finished his time at Pixar as a director of two short films. “Nona” on Disney + and “Know Your Rights” for Colin Kapernick’s non-profit, know your rights camps.
In his spare time he is working on personal projects and looking for interesting projects to work on.
